As you may be aware, Health Education England (HEE) is undertaking the Advancing Dental Care (ADC) Education & Training Review. ADC aims to develop an education and training infrastructure that can respond to the changing needs of patients and services. The ADC Review is in Phase II and has considered recommendations from Phase I of the review which concluded with the publication of the Advancing Dental Care Report. During Phase II we have carried out several research projects and undertaken engagement events with stakeholders across the system.
HEE invites you to a roundtable discussion with DCPs that will take place in Manchester on 4th March. The roundtable will review the findings of the review to date and invite you participate in the formative discussions around potential reform options to develop an education and training structure which can respond to the changing needs of patients and services within the context of the NHS Long Term Plan.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have your views heard and help inform future ADC work into DCP training and education. We are keen to obtain views from a wide variety of DCPs, therefore please feel free to cascade this invitation to other DCPs in your team.
