Sue Adams, Membership and PR
Sue joined BSDHT in 2004 following a restructure of the Society's administrative support services and introduction of a central telephone number. She provides a first point of contact for all callers to the BSDHT, co-ordinates the Jobline and Classifieds service, and undertakes marketing and PR on behalf of the Association.
Sue has worked in dentistry for most of her career and for the last 26 years in an administrative capacity.
Emma Fisher, Website Feeder
Emma started life in dentistry by training as a Dental Nurse. In 1999 she began the Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy at Sheffield and graduated in 2001. On qualification she returned to a practice in Chesterfield where she had been a dental nurse and soon fell back into being part of the team.
A few years later, the rare opportunity to become involved in teaching became available back at Sheffield and in 2004 Emma started working as a tutor. Whilst this was daunting at first it was a great challenge! In 2005, she was given the role of Programme Co-ordinator, running the day-to-day activities of the busy Diploma and in 2010 Emma was appointed as Director. She says that 'All in all the last 15 years have been exciting, rewarding and challenging. I am confident that the next 15 will be the same!'
