Heather Lewis, Editor of Dental Health and DH Contact
Heather qualified as a dental hygienist in 1982 in Glasgow and has worked as a practising hygienist in both NHS and private practice. She currently works two days per week in a private practice. As a tutor dental hygienist she worked in Glasgow and in Cardiff Dental Hospitals. She has also been involved with the teaching of dental nurses.
Her research interests are in the field of infection control in general practice and she is co-author of several papers on that and related subjects.
Heather also has a BA (Hons) in English Literature and is currently the Editor of Dental Health and DH Contact, the Association's newsletter.
