BSDHT has twelve regional groups all of which run a minimum of two scientific meetings a year - click on the map to find out what is going on in your area. Each meeting is planned to ensure that they meet the requirements of the General Dental Council's lifelong learning scheme.
A 'Certificate of Attendance' is issued by BSDHT indicating the high standard of scientific content in the programme and these may then be kept in the professional portfolio as evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
These regional groups provide members with an opportunity for professional contact and interaction within a defined geographical area. They provide and organise lectures, discussions of professional and educational interest. The groups allow the promotion of dental health within the local community and the communication of information with other local groups or branches of Dental and Health professionals.
