Patricia Macpherson
Qualified as a dental hygienist in 1978 at Cardiff Dental Hospital.
Past Secretary and Treasurer of British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (formerly BDHA) South West and South Wales Regional Group. On a national level, Patricia became Elected Council Member for BDHA in 1992 and Honorary Secretary (1993-1998) - including Press Officer for almost two years.
Graduated with BA (Hons) in Health Promotion (First Class Honours) in 2002.
Since 2004 has been a member of the Publications Committee for BSDHT journal, Dental Health and Secretary since December 2007. Became a member of the GDC’s Fitness to Practise Panel in 2007.
Currently works part-time in a private dental practice in Staffordshire and is on her local Parochial Church Council.
