BSDHT First Smiles 2017 - Improving children’s oral health

We have some exciting news. The British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy is delighted to announce that on Friday 16 June, our campaign to increase oral health education to young children in the classroom, is returning, and we would love for you to be involved.

Over the last two years, First Smiles has seen BSDHT members from all across the United Kingdom reach out to local schools and volunteer their services, and the services of the practice, by visiting local schoolchildren to teach them about the importance of good oral health.

As passionate and committed members we would like you to get involved and lead the way!

  • Build partnerships with local nurseries and schools.
  • Deliver enjoyable, fun and informative oral health and hygiene education to classrooms.
  • Make a positive impact on the oral health of school children in the UK.
  • And build goodwill for your practice.
